Since the time of the Egyptians a women long locks has been considered an enhancer of her overall beauty. Woman around the world have different shades of hair but some shades are considered more beautiful or more attractive and contemporary. Hence hair coloring has always been a thing that has been a part of the beautification process.

Hair Coloring Basically is of Four Types depending on the duration of coloring intended to
1. Temporary Hair Color: The pigment molecules of the color used are very large and hence they are not able to penetrate the cuticle layer. This kind of bleach coating can be removed by shampooing. Normally such colors are used for films and Halloween costumes. Normally acid dyes are used because such dyes have low affinity to hair and hence can be easily removed. It is typically used to give brighter, more vibrant shades or colors such as orange or red that may be difficult to achieve with semi-permanent and permanent hair color. This condition is due to the fact that temporary hair colorants do not penetrate the hair shaft itself.

2. Semi Permanent Hair Color: The bleach used in this kind has tinier molecules as compared to temporary hair color bleach molecules. As a result of that these colors are able to penetrate into the hair shaft and as a result would stay for around six months. Most hair color manufacturers offer a semi permanent hair color tube and a permanent hair color tube within their product line.

3. Permanent: Permanent hair bleach can be done by combining a normal dye with a hair developer. As a result of this the color in the hair becomes permanent. This kind of hair color generally contains ammonia, oxidative tints, and peroxide. The allergic reaction that comes from hair dye is generally one of sensitization to p-phenylenediamine (PPD). henna is one of the most common forms of hair color used as it is free from all kinds of side affects that is normally associated with other ammonia related permanent hair colors.
