This is one of the most common forms of hair removal as practiced by
people nowadays specially women. In this process a cream like
substance which is actually molten wax is applied over the body and
that cream is rubbed off after a particular interval of time and
along with the wax the hair is removed off too. This is one of the
most common procedures which is painless and without any sort of
side affects. However some people may have some kind of affects due
to the burning sensation of molten wax but it’s a rarity.
Some of the Things that needed to be
considered during Waxing include
1. Unlike shaving never shower before a waxing session. Hair absorbs
the water making it soft and less likely to adhere well to the wax.
This is why tough hair is easier to pull off.
2. Make sure you sample test a small area of skin first to make sure
there is no acute sensitivity or allergic reaction to hair removal
by the process of waxing.
3. Hair should be at least 1/8 inch long before the waxing process
is initiated Wash the skin thoroughly and dry it well an hour before
in order to remove any lotions or oils which may prevent the wax
from adhering closely to the skin.
4. Heat the wax to exact recommended temperatures so as not to
overheat and thus burn the skin when applying. If possible test it
on a small area of the skin before.
5. But sometimes the problem is that when the hair grows it
sometimes becomes very course and causes an itch feeling on the
skin.
Although waxing is considered to be a permanent solution it is in
fact not. Hair tends to grow back after a few weeks. However with
each session of waxing the diameter and the color of hair decrease
and along with it also the frequency of hair growth decreases.
